Privacy Policy

+57 Labs is a design and development studio based in Stamford, Connecticut, USA. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at contact@57labs.app.

Contact form. When you send the form on our Contact page we store your name, email address, business name (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. With it we store a one-way hash of your IP address (not the IP address itself) and your browser's user-agent string, which we use to prevent spam and abuse.

Ask +57 Labs chat. If you use the chat we store the messages you write, the replies, the page where you opened it, a one-way hash of your IP address, and message and usage counts. To write each reply, your message and the recent conversation are sent to our AI provider (see Service providers). Please do not share sensitive information in the chat.

Site events. We record simple events such as "contact form submitted", with the service selected and whether our emails were delivered. These events do not include your name, email address or IP address.

Hosting logs. Our hosting provider processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser and the pages requested) to deliver and protect the site.

Emails you send us. If you write to contact@57labs.app directly, we receive your message in our inbox like any email.

• To read and answer your request, and to follow up on the project you asked about.
• To send you one confirmation email when you submit the form.
• To keep the form and chat free of spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many messages can be sent from one connection).
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (for example, how many requests we receive per service).
• To review chat conversations so the chat answers accurately.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

57labs.app does not set cookies and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking tools. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page views and page speed in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

We use a small number of providers that process data on our behalf, only to run the site and answer you:

• Supabase: database where contact requests, chat conversations and site events are stored.
• Vercel: hosting of the website and its server functions, plus cookieless, aggregate page-view and page-speed analytics.
• Resend: delivery of the notification and confirmation emails.
• Anthropic: provides the AI model (Claude) that writes the chat replies. Chat messages are sent to the Anthropic API to generate each reply (chat only).
• Cloudflare and Google: DNS and email forwarding for @57labs.app addresses, and the inbox where we read your messages.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

• Chat conversations: deleted automatically 90 days after the conversation starts.
• IP hash and user-agent stored with a contact request: cleared automatically after 90 days.
• Contact requests: kept while needed to answer you and for any business relationship that follows, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Site events: deleted automatically after 13 months.

You can ask us to send you a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email contact@57labs.app from the address you used (or tell us which address it was) and we will confirm when it is done. We delete the request from our database and our inbox, unless we are required by law to keep something.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example in Connecticut, California, the EU or the UK). We will honor requests made under those laws.

The site is served over HTTPS. Stored data can only be read or written by our own server code using secret keys; it is not accessible from the browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and how long we keep it.

The site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
